Choose 1 PCI workshop from among 4 options (A, B, C, D). Each workshop is 3 hours long.
1:30-2:30pm PCI Workshops: Choose A, B, C, or D (first half)
2:30-2:45pm Coffee/beverage break
2:45-4:30pm PCI Workshops: Continue with A, B, C, or D (second half)
Price
$100 includes the morning Advocacy Forum and the afternoon Pre-Conference Institute
Participants may attend either or both activities on Thursday. Regardless, the registration for Thursday's Pre-Conference is $100
When registering for the Pre-Conference, please indicate which Pre-Conference Institute you will attend on Thursday afternoon
Price does NOT include lunch - the Galleria Food Court and Galleria Restaurants are an easy walk and other restaurants around the Galleria perimeter are a quick drive
AMTESOL Advocacy Forum 2027
AMTESOL invites you to our annual Advocacy Forum where you will hear guest speakers and participate in interactive activities and discussion about the needs of immigrants in our communities and the ways that we can advocate for our students' social, emotional, and academic success.
Join us for a morning of activities and discussion about the vital advocacy role that ESOL teachers play in the lives of their students and families. Don't miss this opportunity to hone your advocacy skills and become empowered to effectively advocate for multilingual learners and communities.
PCI Workshops
Get a head start on your conference experience by attending a workshop at AMTESOL's Pre-Conference Institute (PCI). Slated for January 28th, this year's PCI consists of four dynamic workshops, each on a different topic. Select the topic that seems most useful in helping you meet your personal and professional goals. For three engaging hours, a team of PCI presenters will guide you and like-minded colleagues in expanding your knowledge and building your skills — always with the goal of applying what you have learned. With a maximum capacity of 60 attendees per workshop, be sure to register early for the PCI workshop of your choice!
