Information for Session Presenters

  • See the Agenda for your presentation time (usually published in late December to early January)

  • Each session room has a digital projector but Presenters must provide their own laptop and speakers (if sound is needed)

  • Connecting your laptop to the projector: The projectors at the 2027 venue use standard HDMI cables. If your laptop does not have a standard HDMI port, please make sure to bring your own adapter to connect to the HDMI. It is important that you check your laptop since many laptops, especially Macs, do not have a standard HDMI port.

  • If you are using handouts, we recommend having at least 40 available

Share Your Resources with Attendees

  • Session presenters can share their PowerPoints, pdfs, documents, etc. with session attendees via the Oxford Abstracts app

  • Instructions will be sent to session presenters in December

Information for Poster Presenters

  • Poster presentations are on Friday, January 29th, 4:15-5:00pm

  • Please bring your printed poster, which are usually 3x4 feet

  • A poster stand will be provided for you - no need to bring one

  • Digital posters are only possible by special arrangement and you must provide the laptop and monitor (email us to discuss)

  • Set up: Poster presenters will be notified when to set up

  • Poster session: Poster presenters are expected to stand by their poster to explain it 

  • Poster presenters will remove their posters when the conference ends, Saturday 12:45pm​

  • Please do NOT put the AMTESOL logo on your poster, but you are welcome to include your institutional logo, if appropriate
