AMTESOL 2021 Virtual Conference

Registration Costs

$45 ESL Educators (US)

$30 ESL Educators (International)

$20 ESL Paraprofessionals or Full-Time Students*

*Students must provide proof of full-time enrollment, i.e., 6+ graduate credit hours or 12+ undergraduate credit hours.

WHAT DOES REGISTRATION INCLUDE?

  • A 1-year membership to AMTESOL

  • Access to virtual synchronous sessions January 29-30

  • Access to asynchronous sessions (via login, to view in your own time starting January 25th)

  • Optional participation in the Discussion Forum (via login)

  • Access to handouts/PowerPoints, etc. shared by presenters (via login)

ONLINE PAYMENT DURING REGISTRATION

Payment is typically done during registration. Go to the Registration Form and have a credit/debit card ready or a PayPal account.

ONLINE PAYMENT AFTER REGISTRATION

If you did not pay at the time of registration but wish to pay online, you may make your payment via PayPal.

  1. Go to www.paypal.com. At the top menu, click Send.  Log into PayPal (you will need to create an account if you do not have one).

  2. In the Their email address field, type treasurer.amtesol@gmail.com, enter the payment amount and click Continue to make the payment. As long as your name is on the transaction, AMTESOL will be able to match your payment with your registration.

PURCHASE ORDER/MAIL A CHECK

If paying by purchase order and/or check, please make them payable to: AMTESOL

  1. PURCHASE ORDER: Please scan or take a photo of the PO and email it to: treasurer.amtesol@gmail.com. Sorry, due to working from home during the Covid-19 crisis, we don't have a fax machine available.

  2. MAIL A CHECK: Please print a copy of the completed registration form that was emailed to you after submitting your online registration form and include it in the envelope with your payment. If you did not receive the automated email registration copy (sometimes they are blocked by spam filters/firewalls) please email us at treasurer.amtesol@gmail.com to request a copy. For bulk payments, please see the instructions below.

BULK PAYMENTS: PURCHASE ORDERS/CHECKS

If you wish to pay by one purchase order/check for multiple conference attendees (e.g., the school bookkeeper on behalf of more than one conference attendee):

  1. Have each individual register themselves for the conference. (Ignore the PayPal step when it pops up.)

  2. To make the bulk payment, please follow the purchase order and check instructions listed above. Please also include a list of all the attendees covered by that payment so AMTESOL can easily match up the names with the bulk payment.

BULK PAYMENTS: CREDIT/DEBIT CARD

If you wish to make a bulk payment for more than one virtual conference attendee (e.g., the school bookkeeper on behalf of more than one conference attendee):

  1. Have each individual register themselves for the conference. (Ignore the PayPal step when it pops up.)

  2. To make the bulk payment, go to www.paypal.com. At the top menu, click Send. Log into PayPal (you will need to create an account if you do not have one).

  3. In the Their email address field, type treasurer.amtesol@gmail.com, enter the payment amount and click Continue to make the payment.

  4. Send an email with the list of all the registrants' names you included in the bulk payment to treasurer.amtesol@gmail.com so that AMTESOL can easily match up the names with the bulk payment.

 

NO REFUNDS

If, after registration payment is made, prospective participants are unable to attend the virtual conference, they are encouraged to pass their conference registration along to another participant. Please email us at webmaster.amtesol@gmail.com to inform us of the change and give us the name and email address of the replacement person so we can ensure online access to the virtual conference.
