AMTESOL 2017 CEU/Professional Development

If you registered and indicated that you needed documentation for professional development credits, be sure to follow the correct guidelines for your state.*

 

Alabama

For K-12 Alabama attendees, here is the important information that you will need to know:

  1. Sign-up in Chalkable (STI PD) and search for PD Title No: SARIC#10115, 2017 AMTESOL Conference no later than Saturday, January 28, 2017.

  2. Sign-in for each part of the conference. Sign-in sheets are located near registration. You will sign three times if you attend all three parts. There is one sign-in sheet for the pre-conference workshop, one for Friday afternoon, and one for Saturday's sessions. The amount of PD credit is determined by your total attendance hours.

  3. Complete one Alabama Regional In-service Evaluation Form online, within 1 week of the conference:

    • Conference Online Evaluations

    • Go to http://tinyurl.com/hhx8egj

    • Program Title: 2017 AMTESOL Conference

    • Program Number: 2001

    • Sponsoring Center: Regional Inservice Centers

    • Name of Regional Inservice Center: South Alabama Regional Inservice Center (USA)

  4. After completing all steps, credit will be applied accordingly.

Mississippi

Approval for CEU was applied for through The North Mississippi Education Consortium (NMEC).

For Mississippi attendees, here is the important information that you will need to know:

  1. Complete a CEU application and a conference evaluation form. Both are available at the registration area.

  2. Sign-in for each part of the conference. Sign-in sheets are located near registration. You will sign three times if you attend all three parts. There is one sign-in sheet for the pre-conference workshop, one for Friday afternoon, and one for Saturday's sessions.

  3. Submit the CEU application and conference evaluation no later than 1:15 PM Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the place where you signed in. The application and appropriate fees will be mailed to NMEC.

*By registering for professional development/CEUs, you indicated to AMTESOL that you need documentation for requesting CEUs from your state's education department. After you follow the instructions, AMTESOL will provide the needed documentation. However, in order to actually receive your CEUs, you must also follow the procedures stipulated by your respective school district as required by your state's education department.
